Cancellations by Guest:
To cancel a reservation, the Guest must advise by email and receive a response confirming receipt of email before cancellation is deemed accepted.
A Guest cancelling reservation 61 days or more before Arrival Date will have the deposit refunded, less a $250.00 administration fee and the 5% booking fee.
The Guest will receive an email 60 days prior to Arrival Date with a secure link to make his/her balance payment. Should a Guest fail to pay the balance 60 days before Arrival Date, the reservation will be treated as cancelled, and the Guest will forfeit their 50% deposit.
A Guest cancelling 1-59 days before Arrival Date will forfeit 100% of the Rental Fee. If the Property is able to be re-booked for the same rental period, 100% of the rental fee less a $250.00 administration fee and the 5% booking fee will be refunded to the original Guest.
Cancellations by Owner/Manager:
The Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel this Rental Agreement at any time, if for any reason the cottage property is not rentable prior to the beginning of the rental period, at which point all payments will be refunded to the Guest within 7 days of cancellation.
Should the Property not be available due to COVID-19 safety measures, or Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), all payments will be refunded to the Guest within 7 days of cancellation.
